Does
It Turn You On
Written with Dean
Ween, this song appears on the compilation "Sing,
Breathe & Be Merry" compi
lation
CD.

Dragonfly
This has become
a favorite live song, this track appears on WAKE.
Face
Your Doom (With Daniel Johnston)
Face Your Doom is
a Daniel Johnston song and appears
on a compilation called, "Hyperjinx Tricycle." This
is a song I produced and played on thanks
to Don Goede. Daniel Johnston is one of America's
greatest
songwriters.
Giving
Into Life (With Football Wedding)
This song was recorded
for the movie "Dog
Park." It appears during the final credits.
Football Wedding is comprised of Hub Moore, Adam
Lasus, Mike Menner and yours truly.
Henry
This is an obscure
track recorded in Al Petitti's basement in Boston
in the mid-
80s. Al was the
guitarist in O Positive. He wrote the lyrics...
it's a strange
one.
If
You Forget Me
This is the first
version of this song, again recorded in Al Pettit's
basement, a different version
appeared on my major label debut, "Be Headed." The
trumpet is a nice touch.
Into
the Universe
This was recorded
and pro
duced by Andrew Wiess during the first Angeldust
sessions. Angeldust
was a short-lived band I had with Andrew in the
late 90s. This gem features incredible drumming
by Claude Coleman, Jr. and the guitar wonderment
of Michael Hampton, a.k.a. Kidd Funkadelic from
P-FUNK! Andrew Wiess is in his element here.
Joe
Strummer's Midnight Dream
This is another track
done as Angeldust during the same sessions
as "Into
the Universe." We
got a publishing deal through V2 to make these
songs. Andrew recorded me in the front yard in
the wee hours of the morning at the Zion House
of Flesh where I used to live with him in the
late 80s and early 90s. The crickets are the real
deal.

Leaf
of Fall (4-track version)
This is an early
version of the song that I recorded at home when
I lived in the little red school house
in Lambertville, N.J. in the mid-90s. It features
Dave Driewitz on bass and drums and Dean Ween on
guitar. It prompted the beginning of the band,
The People's Key, which is a great unknown band
centered around Dave and I. Someday The People's
Key will take over the world.
Love
is Lies (Buzzcock cover)
This track was recorded
live at Stony Brook Studios (the house I lived in
with Claude Coleman, Jr.).
It features Steve Garvey on acoustic guitar (the
original Buzzcocks bassist). Claude plays upright
bass, and Matt Kohut plays electric bass. JP Wasicko
plays on drums, Joe Ujj on organ and some dude
named Chris, who wandered into the studio that
day (and is a friend of Joe's), played acoustic
guitar. And the wonderful and talented Shannon
Sanderson is on vocals.
Raise
the Roof (Live)
and Road
With You (Live)
Recorded by Kirk
Miller. These songs feature Sim Cain, Andrew Wiess
and Dean
Ween when we opened
for Soul Asylum at American University sometime
in the early 90s. My sister came to this show. "Raise
the Roof" appears on the Sing, Breathe & Be
Merry compilation CD and "Road With You" first
appeared on "Be Headed" and can also
be found on "Band of Changes."
